UPDATE 2: Moscow restaurateurs in talks on summer terrace launch

MOSCOW/SIMFEROPOL, May 29 (PRIME) – The Moscow restaurateurs are discussing opening summer terraces from June 15, Vice President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia Sergei Mironov told PRIME on Friday.
"There is active discussion and everyone is waiting to see what decisions Moscow will make,” Mironov said.
“There is discussion in Moscow about the launch of summer terraces on June 15, but Moscow will track the number of those who contract the disease, there is nothing we can do. If the number of those who catches the disease falls, it is expected still, everyone says that the launch will take place on June 15."
Alexei Nemeryuk, head of the city department for retail and services, said that no preliminary agreement on the launch of summer terraces had been reached. "No, there is no such agreement," the official said.
Head of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov said in a post on the Vkontakte social network that the republic will allow summer terraces to work from June 1.
